Suzana Herculano-Houzel, Ph.D., is a biologist and neuroscientist, researcher, writer, columnist at Brazilian newspaper Folha de São Paulo and professor at Vanderbilt University, where she is Associate Professor in the Departments of Psychology and Biological Sciences. She is also the first female editor-in-chief of The Journal of Comparative Neurology.
