The Live Forever Society exists to make life extension a serious public, scientific and political goal. We believe longer lives are worth fighting for — not just a few extra years of frailty, but the possibility of lives that remain healthy, active and meaningful for far longer than most people expect today.

Vision: A world where longer, healthier lives are possible for everyone who wants them.

Ageing is still treated too often as inevitable: something to be accepted rather than challenged. But ageing is also the biggest driver of disease, disability and death. If science can understand and control the biological processes that make us frail, then society should support that work with urgency, ambition and fairness.

The Society grew out of the Live Forever Club, founded in 2014 to share news, ideas and resources about longer lives. Since then, the word “longevity” has become much more mainstream — but also broader and blurrier, often stretching from serious ageing biology to general wellness advice. As the Live Forever Society, we are refocusing on the bigger goal: much longer lives, and eventually the possibility that people can live for as long as they choose.

Our work brings together public education, policy ideas, campaigning and resources for people who want to understand and support the future of life extension. We want the UK to take ageing seriously as a problem to solve, invest in the science that could transform later life, support a strong longevity biotech sector, and ensure that future treatments are available to everyone — not only the wealthy.

Equality in Longevity

The society’s motto is “equality in longevity” – meaning it believes that life extension information and therapies should be available to everyone and not only to the richest in society. Equally, they should not be restricted based on age, sex, race, religion or any other demographic where an -ism exists today.
