Shanghai University (SHU) is a public university with a variety of disciplines including science, engineering, liberal arts, history, law, fine arts, business, economics and management. It is one of the major universities directly under the jurisdiction of the Municipal Government and one of the 100 key institutions of higher learning the Chinese Central Government will construct in the national “211 Project”.
