Dietitian and Nutritional Epidemiologist with an interest in Ageing, Research Fellow at Nova Medical School

I am a nutritional epidemiologist and researcher at CHRC and at the EpiDoC Unit, CEDOC, Nova Medical School, UNL where I also teach at the Nutritional Sciences’ undergraduate degree. I hold a BSc. (Hon) in Dietetics and Nutrition from ESTeSL, a MSc from Wageningen University and a PhD from Newcastle University. I have a keen interest in healthy and active ageing, more specifically, nutrition, and the interplay with physical activity, in relation to functional outcomes in advanced age.
