The Masonic Cancer Center, University of Minnesota is the Twin Cities’ own Comprehensive Cancer Center, designated ‘Outstanding’ by the National Cancer Institute. For more than 25 years, researchers, educators and care providers have worked to discover the causes, prevention, detection and treatment of cancer and cancer-related diseases.

As one of only 49 National Cancer Institute-designated Comprehensive Cancer Centers in the U.S., we are recognized for dedication to the highest standards of cancer research, patient care, education, and community outreach. We are part of the Big Ten Cancer Research Consortium, a network of academic institutions working together on highly translational clinical trials using the expertise of Big Ten universities.
