International Longevity Summit Madrid 2026

World-renowned experts will present their ideas and research on the science of longevity (Madrid, Spain)

30-Sep-2026 to 01-Oct-2026

The International Longevity Summit Madrid 2026 will take place on 30 September and 1 October 2026, bringing together scientists, physicians, entrepreneurs, investors and futurists to explore the future of healthy life extension. Organised by the International Longevity Alliance, the summit will focus on the biology of ageing, rejuvenation biotechnology, preventive and regenerative medicine, artificial intelligence, biomarkers, health data, the longevity economy and the wider social implications of longer, healthier lives.

Madrid provides a fitting setting for the event, with Spain having the highest life expectancy in the European Union and the Comunidad de Madrid recording one of the highest regional life expectancies in Europe. The 2026 summit will be held at the Real Academia Nacional de Medicina de España, Spain’s Royal National Academy of Medicine, a historic medical institution founded in 1734 and associated with figures including Santiago Ramón y Cajal and Severo Ochoa.

The speaker line-up includes leading international voices in medicine, ageing biology, digital health, biotechnology and futurism, with announced participants including Eric Topol, Peter Diamandis, Brian Kennedy, Valentin Fuster, Guido Kroemer, Steven Austad, Michel Poulain, Michael West, Tina Woods and David Wood, among many others. Previous editions have featured figures such as George Church, Ray Kurzweil, Steve Horvath, Aubrey de Grey, Bryan Johnson and María Blasco.

For the first time, the summit will also include scientific poster sessions and startup pitches, giving researchers, entrepreneurs and innovators the opportunity to present new projects to experts, investors, clinicians and the wider longevity community. The 2026 edition aims to strengthen Madrid’s role as a bridge between Europe, Latin America, North America and the growing global longevity sector.
