Henrik Poulsen (born 1967, Danish) is a member of the board of Novo Nordisk since March 2021 and became Vice Chair in 2022. He holds a BSc and MSc in Finance & Accounting from Aarhus School of Business and brings to the board extensive global leadership experience—including roles as President & CEO of Ørsted A/S (2012-2020) and TDC A/S (2008-2012), as well as earlier executive roles at groups like LEGO Group. In his board role he serves on the Chair Committee, Audit Committee (where he is designated as a financial expert), and chairs the Remuneration Committee; his expertise spans finance, accounting, business development, M&A, innovation sourcing, human capital management, and ESG.
