DOM aims to provide authors of manuscript submissions with a first decision, supported by at least two expert reviewer evaluations, within 30 days of manuscript submission. The figures below highlight our recent editorial performance and exclude about one-third of submissions which are rejected early (usually within 1 week) following internal review by the assigned editor, usually because the manuscript falls outside of DOM's priority areas of Therapeutics and Pharmacology and/or the manuscript does not meet our requirements for clarity, presentation and format.
The journal receives around 1300 submissions annually and currently has an acceptance rate of approximately 20%.
